tournament play. The girls on this team, get an opportunity to learn a lot
about teamwork and Good Sportsmanship not only when winning but
when losing, and commitment to not only themselves but to each other.
All of which are lessons that can transfer into their everyday lives.

This team will represent our area well by displaying the qualities of true
sportsmanship and teamwork. Our team is made up of girls from Good
Hope, J.B. Pennington, West Point, West End, Susan Moore, Holly
Pond, and Cullman, AL.

Teamwork: The actions of individuals, brought together for a common
purpose or goal, which subordinate the needs of the individual to the
needs of the group. In essence, each person on the team puts aside his
or her individual needs to work towards the larger group objective. The
interactions among the members and the work they complete is called
teamwork.

Sportsmanship: Conduct and attitude considered as befitting participants
in sports, especially fair play, courtesy, striving spirit, and grace in
winning or losing. Respect for one's opponent!
